Two days before we fly to Zurich, so it’s time to try out this new blog site . Unfortunately the old site , blogpress, has been altered and now can’t be used by my new iPhone .
From Zurich we’ll make our way up to the source of the Rhine in the Swiss alps, hopefully by train, and then will follow it to where it enters the North Sea in Holland
We often get asked what we take with us so here it is. The clothes on the left I wear on the flight, the top right is my pannier with my sleeping bag, coat, leggings, jandels, sheet and any bike bits. The pouch and backpack which I carry on as hand luggage holds the clothes ( 2 of each) pills etc.
The bike bag weighs in at 18 kgs and the hand luggage about 4kgs.
