We’re heading north for 10 kms up to the Wallhausen ferryIt appears our crazy artist has got statues in several townsÜberlingen was really pretty and like most Swiss and German towns, very cleanWallhausen. 20 off, another 20 waiting to board. There’s an island just down the coast called Insel Mainau. A tourist honeypot with bus loads of tourists, mostly Chinese today, streaming through its famous gardensAfter 15kms we come to the where the lake narrows at Konstanz and we cross back into Switzerland 🇨🇭 funny but you never saw gun emplacements on the German side facing Switzerland . It’s only another 15kms along the lake side to the town we’ve chosen for tonight. The hotel we’ve booked in to , Seestern hotel, is right on the water and I’m hanging out for a swimThat’s the Seestern. It was so quiet out here except for the cow bells clanging down from the paddocks above . I swam out to the pontoon and on the way back I sat and watched this little fellow. They’d made their nest on the back of a boat and he was sitting on 4 large brown eggs. The hen came up and joined him later
