Cruising

Now this was a lovely stop. A bunch of Germans joined us this night in 4 large sailing dinghys. Ash just had to light a fire !No he’s not threatening to shoot him 😲Wednesday , Christine and I wanted some exercise so we set off on a bike ride to have a look further afield. This is the first of 3 ferriesthe captain invited me up to watch him operate itNo mystery to this one. €1.50 eachWe had our lunch sitting at this stall. 75 cents for a glass of home made lemonade.I stopped to ask ‘Mike’ for water and he took us in to see his MustangBasically we were just looking for church steeples and heading for them. See the lean on this one ? Quite common as the foundations are soft. The bridges in this village all swing sideways and the man walks along beside the boats opening them as he goesJoure. The others were there waiting for us in the boat harbourand then we moved down the channel to this free spot. ( we’re learning! )We needed water in the morning. An annoying thing we found with our boat is our battery power runs out in the evening and then we can’t even flush the toilet.

YOU CAN JUST IMAGINE IT CAN’T YOU
