Nothing is simple today. Our first town is Woerden. We rode beside canals again until they came to a dead end and we had to wind a ferry over to our side
“All aboard !”and then Peter did the honours and wound us back to the other side. If Holland is a country of canals then it’s also a country of ferry’s . All sorts …
Bodegraven. Still fairly easy so far. Peter has done a lot of study working out a course and every now and then pulls a list of numbers out of his pocket that we must find.
Ash is having sore bottom problems.
A modern day ‘Don Quixote ‘
Delft. What a great choice for our last night in Holland. We booked the Bridges Hotel on line last night . Excellent choice
Every one we meet tells us they are having the best summer ever . It’s certainly been a wonderful holiday for all of us.
A rock band (of old Chinese musicians ) was pumping out the tunes in the church plaza with about 100 oldies line dancing. This little splinter group started an impromptu line of their own
We got here just after lunch and probably started celebrating a bit early. Look at the lean on THIS steeple. Delft is beautiful, canals everywhere

Italian on the edge of the canal.
It’s been a great little trip and tomorrow we only have to go another 20kms to our ferry at The Hook of Holland so we can sleep in
