“What a lovely morning “. This has been a really good break with a lovely breakfast bought to our room up in the loft.
This is a German tank, buried into the ground as a gun emplacement to guard the IJssel river at Deusberg .
It’s 8.00am Sunday morning and although there’s not too many cars around , lots of family’s and cycle clubs are already out and about.
We’re following the GPS this morning and as we were going through a forest near Zelhem we came across a fun race day run by the lions club. Trouble is we can’t go that way now so we backtracked ,then went around it. It only added about 5 kms to the route though. The music was great

I only wanted a photo of the trail behind me and caught someone STEALING MY NUTS. 
we passed a group of IHC children being taken out for a ride. They were lovely, what a nice thing to do. 
Our hôtel for tonight. I’m not sure if that’s it’s name or what it sells ! 🤪
