This is Agnieszka and her mother Renata who owns this villa Akacja. It’s so nice here we’ve decided to take an overdue rest and stay an extra night. ( that’s our room behind.) Agnieszka is a fine arts restorer , home for a week to help mum out with these foreigners from New Zealand .
I am always on the lookout for local delicacies and this morning it’s smoked fish sausages and smoked prune and salmon kebabs
Each port has the same tourist attractions, sideshow carnivals, pirate ships , high speed chaser boats and the same seaside stuff for sale that you’d find from Auckland to Istanbul
Each town also has these very efficient battery taxis . There’s so many camp grounds and appartments that these guys are flat out all the time.
School has been out for 2 weeks now and it’s normal to send your kids to a seaside camp. We’ve seen dozens of these groups of 40 or more being chaperoned by a couple of adults. This lot must be from a convent as that’s a nun in charge. Unusual hat ?
We’ve just been down for a meal by the harbour. Looks like the Vikings are in town. We will have breakfast early as we’re itching to get back on the road tomorrow
