Have you ever seen a goose farm? It’s the first thing we saw this morning. Speaking of which , Best Western thoroughly goosed me last night. I’m trying to get the booking fee back that I paid for next week , my fault but I really think Booking .com could have been more help.Tonight I’ve joined up to a semi professional site with WordPress as I had run out of storage . That’s why the photos stopped coming through .It’s only 20 kms to Helsingborg, well marked still and the suns out ( it’s supposed to rain today )This moat went right around what we presume is a church. There was a huge cemetery next door so that’s my guess. Helsingborg. The end of the line and where we say goodbye to Sweden. This section from Halmstad has been the best part to bike in Sweden. The town hall. We were going to look around this morning but a ferry for Denmark was leaving from a dock just behind us in half an hour so we grabbed itI couldn’t believe it ! Only 60 kroner for the 2 of us and bikes. ( about $9 )goodbye Helsingborg Hello Helsingør. Denmark. First thing we needed was Danish Kroner. ( different to Swedish Kroner. This is Kronborg castle. The first thing you see approaching Helsingør.Built 1574 and Shakespeare’s inspiration for Hamlet. The massive fortifications around it made it one of northern Europe’s Strongest fortresses.who were they scared of if everyone else was scared of the DanesThe maritime museum is in an old dry dock.remember the whale? This is another fish sculpture made of old plastic containers and trash. It’s amazing! The ultra modern building behind is the Culture centre. Library, arts centre etcActually Its only a facade. Behind is the old ship building yards and buildings. Restored and fully used as conference centresAs we headed south 6 kms to our camp for tonight , the sky got blacker and blacker.
