Copenhagen

We would never stay in a cabin by choice ! I was up 3 times last night, pull the pants on, stumble over to the toilets half asleep. Should never have had that beer last nightDogs , bikes and cars. Every one got their own road as we headed back to the coastal routeRight down to NivÃ¥ we followed a very old road between lots of thatched cottages. They never would have imagined that one day rich people with 2 cars each would live hereI lost count of the marinas. Each one still had a few commercial fishermen working from themSee the lady in the white dressing gown? These swimming platforms were right along the coast with people walking down to the beach for a swim dressed in white dressing gowns. I was astounded 😲 When they reached the water they would discard it and SOME OF THEM were actually wearing a bathing suit. This was the only photo I was allowed to take !Coffee break at Taarbaekhere’s a pretty cafe. Too bad we’ve just had coffeeCharlottenlund Fort. One of a ring of forts around Copenhagen built in 1886. (Against the Swedes. ) Reinforced with Howitzers in 1919 ( against the Russian threat )But no match for the invasion of motor homes now days.Copenhagen. Home of Tuborg brewery’s . and don’t you forget it !Drink driving obviously doesn’t apply to cyclists . This bro was sipping away as he weaved in and out of traffic. Look at the pedestrians face !The city centre was heaving with tourists . Each one being taken for a ride.ouchhh ! Bit extreme Glad to escape the crowds. Our hotel is in the southern part of Copenhagen in an area called Oresund. Separated from the city by this green belt of about 100 acres. It was a maze. Got lost twice but got our bearings off this monster. No this wasn’t ours. But it could have been for $700/ night This is us. The Cabinn Metro. On special tonight at $140. Zoom in on the top right hand corner to see the window cleaners. The rooms are made like cabins on a ship. ( why they’re so cheap for this city ) Its very comfortable though AND we have our own loo
