We Woke to rain again this morning but by 7.30 decided we would just chance it. Bredstedt is only 5 kms away after all. I let the GPS find the shortest route for us
It led us down a farm track which ended up being a bonus as there were mushrooms everywhere.
Yum! There’s plenty for dinner
I stopped to send off last nights blog at McDonald’s then just as we were leaving town the heavens opened. As we waited it out in someone’s carport this local helped us find the best route to Koldenbüttel. We wanted to follow the bike route along the coast but this just isn’t an option today.
A gap in the weather and so we made a dash to the south end of town. Ah ha a coffee shop on a supermarket. We’ll wait in here. I had time to do a quick sudoku
Lovely pastries but am I the only one that can see that the cabinet is full of wasps. The shop assistants and the other customers just ignored them !
now this is a serious paint job
Husum. There’s a festival on this week
Lots of stalls lined the waterfront and a big stage was set up down by the blue boat. Shame about the weather.
Witzwort. The rain has gone and it’s very pleasant riding now
Our GPS has the last say and brings us in to Koldenbüttel by a walking track. We have the entire upstairs apartment to ourselves and I’m going to enjoy making a slap up meal with those mushrooms
