Restless day

By the time I wait for the banks to open it will be too late to get on the road as our next stop is over 50km away.

So we just strolled around in the sunshine. Parts of the old city walls have been excavated. This was once the most heavily fortified city in Germany in the Middle Ages.
The Volksbank where I’m going to ask for help in paying this account.
It looked like an ordinary bank and there were queues inside but not a teller to be seen. Strangely Quiet ! Just the murmur of machines prompting the humans to obey their commands

I just couldn’t see myself queuing to try and explain to a machine what a bad boy I’d been and could they help me ! There were several other banks along the street so I looked in them. Nothing, no one! Probably the most dehumanising thing I’ve ever seen

I ended up using my New Zealand bank to do an overseas transaction to the very bank I’d been standing in. They charged me $25 but I thought that was cheap just to get it over with.

A refrigerated delivery bike. Probably the biggest I’ve ever seen. Because it’s still got pedals it’s classed as a bike but he flys along the bike paths and up on the footpaths . Dangerous!

I went riding around in the trams for a few hours today while Christine watched the Tour de France. It didn’t worry me where they were heading . I just love trams

Can’t wait to get back on the bikes again tomorrow 🚴‍♀️🚴
