Sellingen

Today we are heading south to a farm stay in Sellingen so that we can go to see a medieval day at the fortified town of Bourtange.

I think we’ve stumbled across the hiding place of the Ukrainian Airforce

It’s hard to go anywhere without passing at least one windmill

It’s only 10.00am and the medieval side shows were still setting up.

I found the special mower that keeps the fort looking so pristine

It started to drizzle so we rode the last 10km to Sellingen. The farmers wife runs the BnB and when I asked her if she had any books in English ,she took me in her car to a friends place where I sorted through a lot of them. This is the best apartment yet and now I have something to read we may stay longer

If the rain persists tomorrow we’re able to stay here another day until it clears on Monday. We’ll decide in the morning
