Mareuil le port

The path out of Chateau Thierry started as concrete beside the river and we thought ‘Great ‘👍

It didn’t last for long though and we were back on a D road. Not too busy and so far no hills

Garden art? He must be a champagne grower!

Jaulgonne. I was so busy taking a snap of the shop keeper that I missed a sign

Christine can’t get bottom gear and there’s a big hill in front of us.

First really big one for 2 days ,3 kms and quite steep. But that wasn’t the worst ! At the top I checked the online map and realised we had missed the turn to Dormans. SHIT SHIT SHIT !

There it is! The return trip was fun at least

At a lookout we stopped for a snack and to watch the machinery ( at least I did .love the tractors !)

Now are they spraying for bugs or adding the special flavours

For those that follow the Tour de France , this is Troissy. It came through here.

And finally into Mareiul Le port. If that e-bike wasn’t well locked to the wall I would have swapped
