Lucerne must be where ‘Diana and the golden apple’ was written ( must’ve been cold)
Cherry’s are being picked. We were advised to go south via the northern coast of lake Lucerne. This has to be some of the prettiest biking we’ve ever done. 

I’ll never complain about mowing lawns again. This hay paddock must have been at 45 degrees.
Mark Twain lived here for a spell and wrote that this is the most tranquil and beautiful place he has lived
we’ve stopped for the night. It’s only been 50kms to here and it’s still early but it’s such a nice town that we’re just going to kick back. Our Gasthaus is the Orson , it’s lovely.
